Born January 25, 1950, in Gary, Indiana, Tim grew up in California, New York, and Father Flanagan's Boystown in Omaha, Nebraska. At the age of eighteen, he graduated from Omaha Holy Name High School in Omaha, Nebraska. He then entered The United States Marine Corps, where he spent the next nine years, being honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant.
Upon discharge from the Marine Corps, Tim entered law enforcement, working for Los Angeles and Newport Beach Police Departments. He gave his heart to Christ in 1982 and almost immediately felt the call to the ministry. In 1985, he was licensed by The Church Of God with General Offices in Anderson, Indiana. He was ordained in 1987, and has served as pastor of congregations in Yucaipa, California, Bell Gardens, California,and Ontario, California; he is presently serving as pastor of the Oceanside Community Church of God in Oceanside, California.
Tim attended Hope International University in Fullerton, California, where he earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in ministry, with a congregational focus. Pastor Tim is also the lead chaplain for The Oceanside Police Department and a member and past president of San Luis Rey Rotary, also located in Oceanside.
Pastor Poldrugo is married to Carol Poldrugo, and the ministry duo have three children and five grandchildren, all living in California. The family is extremely close and they get together often.
Tim's special interests include golf, reading, getting together with family, and the church he loves in Oceanside.
